We are headed to Alberta, Canada this weekend to be with family and for the funeral. I'm looking forward to seeing my many aunts and uncles up there as well as lots of cousins.
Here's a picture that was taken in April of my brother, his son, my dad, and my grandpa. It shows 4 generations of Abbotts.

Beautiful post.
He's having the time of his life right now...but we'll still miss him.
Looking forward to seeing you guys!
Sorry for your loss. It is a sad time for us when we lose a loved one, and yet, the thought that he is in Heaven enjoying our saviour gives us the hope of seeing him again one day. Praise the Lord that your grandpa is with Jesus!

It is very hard to lose a grandpa. But knowing that they are in heaven and that one day we will see them again gives hope. Will be praying for you and your family.

I love you Becky. I am sorry for your sadness! Enjoy the time of talking of great memories about your grandpa... You may write some down so you can share them with the kids when they get older.
I'm so sorry for your loss!! .. but so thankful he knew the Saviour! I think that's a great idea to write some things down to share with your children as they grow. Maybe even conduct a few "mini interviews" with family while you are visiting. We'll miss you at church! We prayed for you guys in our class tonight and told Pastor how long you'll be gone. :) Keep in touch!
