Which Wrap?

So, with baby due in only 10 more weeks (wow! seriously?), a baby wrap is on my list of things I'd like to have. However, there are so many choices out there! What are your suggestions?

Moby Wrap

Sleepy Wrap

Dr. Sears Sling

FreeHand Mei Tai Carrier

Ooooh, I love wraps & carriers!
Are you looking specifically for a wrap?
I actually made my own - basically a Moby wrap! (I love it!) I could probably dig up the instructions somewhere if you would like!

I just want something that is fairly easy to take off/put on whether I'm at home or out and about, something I can use whether baby is newborn or a couple of months old, and that lets me have my hands free while still keeping baby close.

I loved the Maya Wrap. Couldn't live without them. Very simple and easy to use.

I really liked my hotsling and it wasn't very expensive. The only trick with it ..it only fits you. You choose the size based on how tall you are and how much you weigh but I sure wish I would have had it with my first two!

I have heard a lot of great things about moby, but nexer used one. Mrs Lanskey made me a wrap & thats what I used. It took me a while to get used to. The only think I did not like is the ring on it..no matter how I positioned the wrap on my, the ring always dug into my neck or fell off my shoulder.

(reminds me of moby) http://thediymommy.com/homemade-baby-slings-how-to-make-your-own-baby-sling/

You should ask Amber Bernard, she also used a wrap, with rowan she used like a blanket or long cut of fabric!

hope my 3 comments help!

Let me know if you find a wrap that holds 3. :) Oh wait, I'm not sure my back could handle that.

LOVE the Moby wrap...love that there are dozens of different ways to carry baby, front, back, side, forward facing, facing in, breastfeeding hold...they are all on youtube. They only cost about $40 and are super easy to put on and take off.

Becky,
I have a black Moby wrap I bought and don't use much mostly b/c My babies are just not into the slings and wraps they don't get comfortable and settle down in them. I will sell it to you for $20 if you decide to go with the Moby let me know.~April

Dear Becky,

I love your mom-in-law's comment-so sweet. There are sure a lot of neat wraps available; I sure wish that they were around when Stephanie was a baby. Maybe there were some; I just was not aware of them.
We love your family and would like to come over after your little girl is born and bring a gift and a meal for you.

Love you,

Teresa Olsen
